La Strada

D.A. Pope demolished the interior of the building, performed a seismic upgrade and started from a shell space to create the home of one of Palo Alto’s premier Italian restaurants, La Strada, on University Avenue. D.A. Pope’s own craftsmen constructed the new building facade and created a warm, welcoming interior, including the installation of an authentic traditional oven imported from Italy.
